Week of Dreams Reception

Join us for an extra-special event on June 29 from 6-9pm at the Alaska Native Heritage Center in Anchorage. The Week of Dreams Reception will lead off with a demonstration of Alaska Native Baseball by Andrew Abyo (the Sugpiat artist and former resident of Pilot Point will show guests how to play the Southwest Alaska version of Indigenous Baseball called Miachee), Alaska Native Games exhibition, a live conversation between KNBA reporter Jill Fratis and Major League Baseball veteran DJ Carrasco of Native Nations, appearances by the Knock Down and Skin ‘Em Club players, and food/drinks.
